Our camp days include riding, arts and crafts along with many educational and hands-on horse activities. If your child is looking for a way to become more comfortable around horses or spend more time in the saddle, this camp is a wonderful choice. This camp is best suited for children ages 6 to 13. Horse camp runs from 9 am to 1 pm Monday through Friday and is $350 per week, we offer after-camp care from 1-3, Monday-Wed.
Patch Wood IEA Team
We have a growing IEA Middle and High School Show Team here at the farm. We are showing in the dressage discipline, contact us for more info!
Trail rides and Cross Country Schooling
We offer trail rides to local trails and parks for our students only. Cross country schoolings are available to our more advanced students.
Clinics
We have several clinicians visit the farm throughout the year, check back for dates!
Hands On Fun for our Younger Crowd
We offer Toddler Time Pony Fun. Come experience life on the farm, meet and greet with our donkeys, goats and horses. Learn to groom a pony and have a short ride, parent involvement is required.
Intro to Horses Day – Dates coming soon
Horse Care Club will be starting May 2024 for horse lovers ages 5 to 12. Come once a month to learn the ins and outs of horse care along with arts and crafts activities. Hands on horse time without riding.
Sandown Hooves, Paws and Claws 4H Club
Patch Wood Farm is also home to our Sandown Hooves, Paws and Claws 4H Club. Our club learns about all things horses and participates in several 4H events and clinics each year. They have rescued several horses from the auction and work on rehabbing and finding them a forever home. Contact us for more info or to join the club!
